There I was, in my early 50s and, on the surface, my life seemed pretty amazing. I had a successful career as an author (with an Amazon bestseller), a happy marriage of 20+ years, financial security and overall good health. Then dangerous, anxiety-triggered blood pressure spikes landed me in the emergency room twice, facing the threat of a stroke.
Clearly something had to change, or my anxiety might just steal my pretty amazing life.
Sitting in the ER, thinking about where things had gone wrong, I realized:
I wasn’t controlling my life. My life was controlling me. I’d fallen into a pattern of perfectionism, people-pleasing and passively allowing life to happen to me. I was simply reacting.
Then I learned something mind-blowing that shifted everything for me. Now I’m living the life I wanted. A life that makes me HAPPY. A life that keeps me HEALTHY.
